Hap-pac
Hap-Pac is a sustainable and biodegradable alternative to plastic containers that dominate the produce packaging market currently. Hap-Pac consists of only Cradle to Cradle certified materials and has a circular product lifecycle.Partnered project with Bianca Faser.
The design language behind Hap-Pac is friendly and playful including the physical smile cut out and the labeling. This encourages customers to choose the healthier and more sustainable option. The shape of the lid encourages the user to “squeeze” when opening. A tab in the front is included to provide extra fastening.The lid can be torn off at the hinge to allow the customer to use the base and lid as separate bowls.Water Resistance allows for the container to be durable, reused, and cleaned. The feet at the bottom and cut-outs at the top allow for the packaging to be stackable. The containers can also stack inside each other which allows for more efficient storage and transportation.
